We buy almost anything made of gold, including jewelry set with precious stones such as diamonds, rubies, emeralds and sapphires. We also buy karat gold jewelry set with semi-precious stones including amethysts, garnets, tourmalines and pearls.
Some of the items we purchase include:
- Class Rings
- Cuff Links
- Charms and Charm Bracelets
- Gold Coins
- Objets d’art such as cigarette cases, tiny boxes, thimbles etc.
Look for marks such as 18K, 14K, 10K or numbers such as 750 or 585. These marks indicate the metal purity of gold and will be used to calculate our offer. If something is not marked with a number it doesn’t necessarily mean that it is not gold. For example, sometimes marks are removed when rings are resized. We will be able to perform a few tests to determine if something is in fact gold and also determine the percentage of gold. Our test will not harm or damage your item. We typically offer 75 to 80% of the gold spot price for undamaged pieces in good condition. And we are happy to offer even more for desirable antique and collectible pieces. Find out what your gold is worth here.
We also purchase broken, mismatched or damaged pieces of gold jewelry. Our offer will be less on these items, unfortunately, because we will have to send them to be refined. We typically offer 40% to 50% of spot for broken or mismatched items.
If you are not sure about the karat gold content of jewelry you are thinking of selling, don't worry. We will sort the gold from the costume or fashion jewelry and then sort by metal purity. We will discuss your items with you so you know exactly what you have before we make an offer for your consideration. See more about our process here.
Please do not clean your jewelry before the consultation. Jewelry can be damaged by certain cleaning techniques. Our staff is well-versed in proper cleaning of jewelry and can handle that when you arrive.
